  • Duration: 3.5 Hours (8:30 AM - 12:00 PM)
  • Audience: Business owners, marketers, content creators, and individuals interested in website development.

Session 1: Introduction to Odoo Website Building & Bluemaxcloud Setup (1 Hour - 8:30 AM - 9:30 AM)

  • Bluemaxcloud.io Setup (30 minutes)
    • Signing up for a Bluemaxcloud.io account.
    • Creating a new entity/instance.
    • Overview of the Bluemaxcloud.io interface and resources.
  • Overview of Website Builder (30 minutes)
    • Introduction to the Website module in Odoo.
    • Key features and benefits of using Odoo for website creation.
    • Understanding the drag-and-drop interface and its capabilities.
  • Getting Started with Website
    • Exploring pre-designed themes and templates.
    • Understanding the basic structure of an Odoo website.
  • Hands-on Exercise: Participants will create a new website and explore the available themes.

Break (15 minutes - 9:30 AM - 9:45 AM)

Session 2: Designing and Customizing Your Website (1.5 Hours - 9:45 AM - 11:15 AM)

  • Website Design and Layout
    • Customizing website themes and layouts.
    • Working with building blocks and widgets.
    • Adding and editing text, images, and videos.
    • Creating and managing website pages and menus.
  • Content Management
    • Creating and managing website content.
    • Using the built-in text editor and media manager.
    • Implementing SEO best practices for website content.
  • Hands-on Exercise: Participants will customize their website's design, add content, and create pages.

Session 3: Website Functionality and Integrations (1 Hour - 11:15 AM - 12:00 PM)

  • Adding Functionality to Your Website

    • Working with addon apps to extend website functionality.
    • Connecting social media accounts and other platforms.
  • Website Settings and Configuration
    • Configuring website settings, including domain name and SSL certificate.
    • Managing website users and permissions.
    • Understanding website security best practices.
  • Hands-on Exercise: Participants will add a contact form, configure website settings, and explore available apps.
